Prepare a simple space
Choose a place where you can sit or stand comfortably. Put aside anything that distracts you, if you wish. No purchase is needed. This is a contemporary exercise proposed by Monna, not a reconstructed ancient rite or a treatment.
Observe three ordinary details
Look around and silently describe three objects. There is no need to close your eyes, change your breathing or achieve a particular state. If the exercise is unpleasant, stop or skip it.
Choose a word
Choose an intention such as ‘clarify’, ‘create’ or ‘slow down’. Treat it as a reminder of your own choice, not a force that controls events. You can change it at any time.
Give it a small, real action
For ‘clarify’, put one question into words. For ‘create’, gather a notebook and pencil. For ‘slow down’, leave a short gap between two tasks if your circumstances allow. Keep the action small and within your control.
Close the pause
Write one sentence in your daily moment: ‘I chose…, I tried…, I noticed…’. Feeling nothing special is a valid result. You do not owe the exercise a success story or a daily streak.
What this does not claim
This exercise promises neither cleansing of an invisible danger nor an effect on health or luck. The atmosphere is symbolic. For decisions with real consequences, rely on the relevant facts and qualified help, not on a ritual.
